About the Artists
ERIK OTTO
Erik Otto was born in Santa Clara, CA in 1980. He grew up in Milpitas and pursued an education at San Jose State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and received both the Art & Design Scholarship from his department and was named Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities in 2003. After graduation, Otto moved to San Francisco, where he currently works as a graphic designer and has since worked with fashion companies such as Old Navy and Jansport, while his artistic style has been used to develop marketing campaigns for Wells Fargo and HBO. He was recently awarded the Jury Prize at Cut & Paste’s Digital Design Tournament for 2007. Otto’s personal artwork is exhibited in galleries nationally and is represented by Shooting Gallery in San Francisco. View Erik’s work at erikotto.com
DENY KHOUNG
Deny Khoung was born in Fairfax, VA in 1980. He grew up in San Jose and pursued an education at San Jose State University where he double majored with a BFA in Graphic Design and a BFA in Photography. His student work has been published in the 25th Type Director’s Club Annual and was a recipient of the Western Art Directors Club Award. After graduation, he began his design career with clients such as Sun Microsystems, Inc., Metro Newspapers, and Old Navy. Khoung currently works as a graphic designer for multidisciplinary design firm Larsen and lectures at San Jose State University.
