not only have i worked with erik and deny on a professional level, but i am also a big fan of their work and strongly believe in their philosophy for New Leaf. in an effort to spread the word and organically cool apparel of New Leaf, i have purchased (or been given) a shirt or two from each of their sets.

being in a mildly successful band and host of a tv show has also given me the opportunity to spread the vision of New Leaf by wearing these shirts and becoming a walking billboard for this clothing company. every tv show, concert, and photo session has featured a "new" New Leaf shirt that was in season.

as a collector of artwork, i have been fortunate enough to have obtained some rare and old skool paintings by New Leaf artist, erik otto. i have them hanging on the wall in my office.

and like much of the other people who have commented on this blog, i too am turning over a "new leaf," as i am preparing to open up a frozen yogurt store in Merced, CA. drawn to the beliefs of New Leaf creators, Erik Otto and Deny Khoung, i have tailored my stored to become the first yogurt shop with compostable and biodegradable (organic) bowls, napkins, and spoons. our vision is to create a venue where communities and cultures collide and become the life and soul of our shop.

working with many local artists, architects, and business people-alike, i believe that this New Leaf painting will be a GREAT addition to our store! (we also plan to feature other artists and musicians as well.)

New Leaf has personally been a major inspiration to me for the past few years in my life, business, and musical endeavors!

Thank you for your years of friendship!

PS - i also plan on buying a few for my new house in merced. :P

I would like to petition to win the New Leaf Wilderness Framed Art piece for the following reasons:

1) I'm moving/making changes in my life, you could even say turning over a "new leaf" (heh heh)

2) I'm all about renewal, being green and loving the wilderness- I recycle every beer bottle, champagne bottle and miscellaneous spirits bottles baby!

3) I love New Leaf *hugsies*

Best Regards,

Anhee H. Stovall III esq.
